ELDORADO, IL – As of Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, Ferrell Hospital now has 24-hour, 7 days per week onsite armed security coverage through a partnership with Blue Line Solutions.
Although security and crime have not been an issue here at Ferrell Hospital, incidents of violence and crime in healthcare settings on a national level have prompted us to be proactive. Our priority is to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, plus be able to provide additional resources to our local law enforcement agencies.
Blue Line Solutions employs security officers who are highly trained and have a police or military background. All of the officers onsite at Ferrell are off duty or retired law enforcement professionals.
We are committed to preventing any and all types of criminal activity, while maintaining our culture of compassion and excellence. Ferrell Hospital security officers will routinely participate in emergency management drills that involve local law enforcement and first responders, including on-site exercises.
