Business Office Manager (FT)
Department: Business Office Minimum Requirements: Associates degree required. 3-5 years experience in hospital and physician practice business office operations required. Managerial experience required. Duties: Organizes daily work load to maintain efficient flow of department activity, daily activity reports, P.A., variances, staffing schedules, etc. Responsible for timely billing and collection of patient charges. Monitors bad debt and contractual losses against budgeted levels. Reviews bad debt write off listing, refund requests, miscellaneous cash adjustment and other business office matters. Resolves patient, physician and inter-departmental complaints and misunderstandings as related to the Business Office. Reviews managed care contract and assists with the negotiations.
